oh cute hen house!!!!!!!!!
Oh yes, this henhouse is so cute. Good job for the door.
No wonder they're not laying eggs! Where is the sun porch???
Hi Clare & Mijo,Yep, Joe does good work. Of course, this is where his chickens live!Hi Anonymous,It's around the other side! They get plenty of fresh air and sun. The two hens who live in here are the only ones who are still laying regularly, as Joe loves to point out to me! : )
Now that is a henhouse! My stepsister and her husband are renovating their house, and it has not escaped their attention that currently their chickens live in a much nicer house than they do. They refer to the henhouse as the Cluck Mahal.
Hi Jamie,Welcome to the farm! Ooooh, Cluck Mahal--I like that. I know exactly how your stepsister and her husband feel. No solid walnut door on our rickety old farmhouse! : )
Lucky hens--maybe that's why you get such good eggs!
you need to get some more chickens then :)
Hi Amy,We definitely get some good eggs. Yesterday I broke one open and could not believe how dark orange the yolk was. Gorgeous!Hi Clare,I'm planning to order new chicks in the spring! Until then, I guess we'll just be on egg rationing. : )
Beautiful hen house ! When I get my chickens (someday) this is the type of house I want for them
