  1. I sure wish my hair would fluffy up like that...

  2. New Cat looks comfortable as only a cat in an awkward position can pull off somehow!

  3. I don't know if I'd want my hair to fluff like that, but hair that thick could be nice for a change. Magnificent coat.

  4. I hate to see the hair he'd leave on a black jacket come spring!

  5. Your life sounds fascinating...and what a switch!

  11. Hi Jeff,
    I shudder to think. . .

    Hi Shannon,
I know. I don't know how they pull it off either. It seems like he's defying gravity and yet does look comfortable.

    Hi B'Gina,
    He just keeps getting fluffier!

    Hi Clare,
You don't even own a jacket!

    Hi Sky,
Welcome to the farm! Yep, it's been a definite switch alright. Quite a ride. : )

    Hi Sunidesus,
It's a good thing we don't live in a neighborhood full of cats because I'm sure that all the girls would never leave him alone. : )

    Hi Kross-Eyed Kitty,
LOL, that's great news about the big hair. Well, not for Jeff. . .

    Hi Rosa,
He definitely has a certain regalness about him when he's wearing his winter coat.

    Hi Sarah,
No, aside from a humongous fear of the dogs (which means he only spends about thirty seconds a day on the ground), he is quite a mellow fellow. It's The Doodle Monster who's the psychotic one around here.

  12. Hi Riana,
I don't know how I skipped you. I also don't know what sign New Cat is--or even how old he is. He just showed up one day and decided that this seemed like an okay place so he moved into the cat cabin with J2, who was thrilled (and who, like New Cat, just showed up one day at my old farm and stayed). This was several years ago, and they have been best buddies from day one. It's really cute.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
