Some Things Are With Us So Briefly.
Don't Wait For Blossoms To Celebrate Them.

  1. What a wonderful thought - Derek and Lucky 13 cavorting. Tender hugs to you, dear Farmgirl.

  2. When we moved here into this house I waited a year before digging anything up to see what would pop up. I have seen the most wonderful irises come and go every year for the last 12 years. I never planted them and have never moved them and they are so breath taking. And you are right, they are here all too briefly.

  4. I too have these popping up all over:) I plant some every fall and then by Spring I can't remember what I planted or where until they start coming up:0 Last year I planted some pink daffidils, yeah pink!! I had forgotten about them, but now they are the biggest out of all my daffidils....can't wait for them to bloom.

I am so very sorry for your loss. We who surround ourselves with loving creatures must constantly suffer their cycle of life and death, but because of their unconditional love and friendship we continue the cycle.
Their loss does hurt very much.

January 2013 update: I know word verification is a big pain, but it's the only way I can stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I get every day. I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!
