  1. I just love your blog!

Have you ever told us about the Cat Cabin? What is it? Where is it? Do just cats live there? It sounds cool... I'd like to hear more about it.

  2. Morning Farmgirl! Such a cute kitty face peeking thru those boards. does j2 let you love on him or is he an aloof kind of kitty?

    Happy Day to you!

  5. What a cool picture! Looks like it should be a cover for a children's book! And the cat's looking a little put off...

  6. Hi Jen,
Thanks so much. Um, I'm sure I've mentioned a few things about the cat cabin in some comment section somewhere, but I would be glad to write a little more about it--hopefully later today. I just popped on here for a sec now (Cary awaits!) because of the concerned folks who think J2 is pissed off. : )

In the meantime, if you click on "Cat Cabin" in the photo caption you can see a reflection of the entire cabin. And if you click here you'll find several links to photos that include Cat Cabin in the caption--if you want to see more of it.

    Hi Heather,
Oh J2 is very sweet and friendly to me, but he definitely prefers to hang out with his super good buddy, New Cat. They are just the best of friends and are pretty much always together.

And re your comment from yesterday: luck! luck! luck! luck! : )

    Hi Sher,
    Thanks!

    Hi Maltese Parakeet & Jeph,
You aren't the first ones to mention J2's seemingly mad/serious/huffy stare.

Not to worry--that's just how he looks. Really. All the time. Even when he's purring up a storm. This cat just doesn't smile.

Believe me, he's extremely happy in this photo. Why wouldn't he be? He has his own cabin! (Well, he shares it with New Cat).

A little more about the cabin later (I hope).

  7. I was inspired to do a little "Weekend Cat Blogging" of my own. I always enjoy your farm pictures and the kitchen garden ones too - but you were a little mean to that poor tomato plant (LOL) From one farmgirl to another - Have a happy day! Tina

  11. Cats look so much cuter when they're outside! I wish that I could let mine roam free, but I think that now we're in CO, there are wild animals that might make a meal out of them. Your cats aren't bothered by the natural predators? Or do they come in at night?

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
