  1. Hi there Farmgirl, top of the morning to you. I've never been first to post-couldn't resist. I hope Autumn is feeling fine all around you. Give a snuggle to the Cary for me. Shaun (who is feeling the weather change in her joints but is still so very blessed.)

  7. Hi Everyone,
I'm way behind answering questions and replying to comments and emails (I know, I know, tell you something you don't know, LOL). I'm hoping to catch up bit by bit over the next few days. Thanks for your patience.

    Hi Shaun,
I gave that snuggle to Cary for you! : )

    Hi Tree,
For some reason, a lot of people (including my mother--who has known him for years!) think Patchy Cat is a girl. I have no idea why. And I certainly don't mean to single you out and pick on you--it's just that P. Cat would like everyone to know that even if he doesn't have all his equipment anymore, he's still a guy! : )

    Hi Artsymom,
Congratulations on the new feline member of your household! I'm thrilled you chose to find a cat at The Humane Society. Hmmm. There must be a lot of Patchy Cat lookalikes out there--ours was even named after another Patchy Cat. : )

    Hi Miss Kitty,
Patchy Cat is one amazing fellow. He really is the Farm Boss. Everywhere you turn, there he is!

    Hi Carolyn,
You're very welcome. And yet another Patchy Cat lookalike. Maybe we should start a club or something. : )

    Hi TampaLadyButterfly,
Welcome to the farm! For reasons of privacy, the only information I share regarding our location is that we are in the southern part of Missouri.

As for emailing me, you are more than welcome to (as is anyone else). My email address (which can always be found on my Blogger profile page--get there by clicking on the link that says VIEW MY COMPLETE PROFILE at the bottom of the ABOUT ME paragraph in the sidebar) is farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

  9. oh, how sweet, I love cats too! I had a boy kitty named Alex, a long haired orange and white tabby-very petite and everyone would always say "she" was so pretty :) Our vet used to say "he's a special kind of cat", oh my he was a handful, it was either his way or the highway! Of course it was always HIS way - for 18 wonderful years.

  10. Patchy cat is adorable :-)
Oh, it was your 'last BLT' entry that caused me to slam together a BLT (though I'm sure inferior to your home-grown tomato and fab bacon and home baked bread) and eat it standing at the counter!

January 2013 update: I know word verification is a big pain, but it's the only way I can stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I get every day. I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.
