Daily Farm Photo 11/18/06: Oats Everywhere!

Cary's last dish of treats in the house

I think this one's pretty self-explanatory. What the photo doesn't show is Joe sitting five feet away, shaking his head in disbelief—and me laughing hysterically. He didn't believe me when I said she'd never done this before. What I couldn't believe was how far she'd flung those flakes.

  1. FG I am so enjoying your writings! We moved to rural Missouri from the "big city" as well. I can relate to a lot of your early writings. The pictures are wonderful. Do you think we will get much snow this year? I haven't check any perssimon seeds.

  2. At first glance, I thought I was looking a giant oatmeal toasting loaf with a sheep standing in the middle of it. It is so similar in texture and color to yeasterday's (sic) pic. Too funny, is right.

  5. Oops, Cary, you're Busted! No more treats in the house, darn...I'll bet you cleaned it all up though didn't you.

I'll admit, like Shaun, I thought one of those beautiful loaves of Oatmeal bread had exploded. Great picture :-) T.
