Saturday Farm Photo: Snowed In!

Nobody Comes In, Nobody Goes Out (Well, Except for Us Going to Do Chores)

I love our little front yard gate:

7/7/05: Robin at the Front Yard Gate
3/1/09: Snow! (Again!)

Besides, we always spend Saturday Date Nights at home—especially when there's a bottle of champagne chilling outside and a gorgeous full moon shining up above.

  2. We're snowed in, too! I love it. Don't have to go anywhere... just played with the dogs and checked on the neighbors. Made homemade bread. Life is good!

  3. We were snowed in too. Hubby took the kids sledding behind the go kart but we couldn't go anywhere else. But I love it! So pretty outside!!!

I love seeing all of your cute animals!

  4. I don't suppose you have a hot tub too? Cause there is nothing as romantic as sipping champagne under a full moon while soaking in a hot tub. Just be sure to bring boots and heavy bathrobes or you'll freeze. Just saying.

  5. This is such a pretty photo (I love your gate too.) We haven't really had much snow this year so far. (Very odd winter so far.) I'd kind of like a snow day/night :).

  6. I wondered how you were doing. I'm not exactly sure where you are in MO but I'm pretty sure you are South of I-44. I'm about 25 minutes North of the Lake of the Ozarks. We got about 2 inches of snow here. Glad to see your post and know your okay!

  9. Every winter is different, isn't it? We haven't been snowed in yet - the plowman was pretty eager to start earning a little money, so he got here pronto! Peaceful scenes on your beautiful farm, sigh. Enjoy that champagne!

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
