Monday Dose of Cold and Cute: In the Snow

Want to see more white? We've already had several snowstorms this season! You'll find links to lots more snow photos here.

© Copyright 2010 FarmgirlFare.com, the slowly melting (we even made it up the driveway today!) foodie farm blog where some of us follow in tracks, and some of us fearlessly forge ahead and make our own. Either way, there's nothing more amusing than watching animals out in the snow. (And it looks to me like crazy Daisy was sliding along and came to a screeching halt in that last picture.)

  4. I love the snow. We got about 6 inches with an inch of ice on top last Friday and the kids are still out of school. Wish it would stay white until spring!

  5. When we lived in a terribly cold part of Alaska (yes, there are parts of Alaska that are not terribly cold!), our lab mix named Libby would wade into the deepest snow she could find and really belly down into it to pee. It amazed me because her tummy had no hair - just pink skin! That's what the picture of(is it Marta?) reminded me of. She looks like she's going - Aaahhh - finally cool!

  6. Love to see your furry friends basking in winter and all it's glory. I am just starting out blogging and was wondering how do you get followers? I know you may not have time to respond but I thought I would try. Also everyone is welcome to come check out my blog all about my country life.

  8. We still remain snowless here in NJ. And you are right, Marta does look like she was sliding down a hill. Great photos as always.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
