Those Ears!
They Get Me Every Time

© 2010 FarmgirlFare.com, the just out of reach foodie farm blog where baby lambs are programmed to dash away from any potential danger/predator, which means that—even thought I'm obviously not a danger—this time of year I spend an inordinate amount of time reaching down and grabbing the empty space where a quick little bundle of cute used to be in my constant attempts to catch me some cuddle time!

  2. You make it entirely too difficult to not pack my family up and move somewhere we can have lambs. I mean, I knew they were cute but oh my goodness!!

  3. Oh my god those are adorable! I feel like if I had those two little babies everything in my life would be perfect and melt into a rainbow of sugar and cupcakes! :) Sans the lamb poop! :)

  4. Thank you so much for creating this blog. I keep thinking that it's time to take that fork in the road of life toward a new (read rural) life, but unfortunately I'm not married to the type of person who dreams of it as I do, so visiting your site every day keeps me sane sometimes! I've learned so much since finding your website, too, about sheep in general. I enjoy very much the stories you share; as a children's book illustrator, I see so much on your farm that inspires me. And I'm sure I'll be using some of those wonderful recipes. Thank you again.

  5. How amazingly cute!!! I know you do spend a lot of time trying to protect them from the wildlife that lurk about. On this mountain tree farm, there's evidence of bear, cougar and bobcat. My husband keeps telling me that when I tell him how much I'd like to have Nigerian dwarf goats. Now, seeing these lambs...OMGoodness.

  9. How cute! Reminds me of the baby goats we had. Named them George and Abe because they were born on Presiden't Day!

  10. I don't know how you manage to get anything done with those impossibly adorable lambs around. I know I wouldn't!!

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
