Homemade Swing Photos© 2010 FarmgirlFare.com, the fully insulated foodie farm blog where the thermometer said 23° when I finally got up enough nerve to crunch across the icy lawn and check it this morning—and then spent 20 minutes outside taking pictures with my nice cozy gloves tucked under my arm. Thank goodness for The Shack's cozy woodstove, which warmed up my frozen fingers—as my hunky farmguy Joe would say—right quick. I love how you can see both frozen and defrosted grass in that last photo (which was taken about 25 minutes after the chillier ones). It always amazes me how once the sun hits, everything goes back to 'normal' so quickly!
Beautiful. Such a different climate. Our leaves (near Portland, OR) are just starting to fall.

ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the ewes. I like to cross stitch ewes and that is really pretty. Is is cold there?
