Wednesday Dose of Cute: Patiently Waiting for Santa

Patiently Waiting for Santa
Smudge, who loves leaves, takes a laid back approach to the holidays. (Mr. Midnight, on the other hand, is a little more impatient.)

© FarmgirlFare.com, the no fear of heights foodie farm blog (well, except for me, Miss Terra Firma) where that ladder lives against The Shack so my hunky farmguy Joe can climb up on the roof to sweep the leaves off (which helps keep the rain in the kitchen down to a minimum)—and so Smudgie can get up there more easily.

  1. Smudge is an absolutely perfect name for a cat. This could be a great Christmas card picture!

  3. Ah, we have a Smudge too! Often on the roof, but not in a pile of leaves.
My dad was a bricklayer, and he would probably have said that your chimney needs repointing:)

  4. You take such great pictures of your animals. You always get an "awww..." or a laugh out of me. Today I got a little teary reading about "New Cat". I've tried your lentil soup (with kielbasa) and your almond/choc chip biscotti. Love 'em!

  6. Smudge is a cutie. Someone told me that cats love to be up on something higher - looking downward. If that's true, then Smudge has the best view of all!

January 2013 update: I know word verification is a big pain, but it's the only way I can stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I get every day. I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

If you're waiting for a reply to your comment and have a Blogger profile (it's free to create one) you can check the NOTIFY ME box that is below and receive all follow up comments to just this specific post via email.
