© FarmgirlFare.com, the feather brained foodie farm blog where last night I busted Topaz licking the chocolate frosting off my freshly baked brownie, and two nights ago she had a near empty wine glass tilted precariously over so she could steal a drink. She also likes tortilla chips. And vegetables. Her nickname is Chumpkin. (Sometimes I feel like one, too.)

  1. Oh, Miss Topaz sounds like way too much fun and full of mischief! Who can blame her for licking the frosting or having a small glass of wine? :)

    Now, on to Donkeyland!

  2. Your 3T stands for something entirely different than our 3T stood for when we had a cat on Kwajalein! Our 3T was a Terribly Tubby Tabby!!

But we loved him enough to leave him behind when we PCS'd back to the States. He never could have survived in modern traffic and would not be confined to a house!

I'm looking at the photo of your cat and thinking that she's identical to my tortie who is called "Checkers" because she has a face that is bisected light and dark from her nose to her chin. She's a big cat who loves to eat although she was a runt as a rescue bottle baby and almost didn't make it. I really enjoy the photos of all your animals - the love for them is very apparent in every one.

  4. Oh my goodness--I wonder if it's a tortie thing? Our tortie Lucy is a food thief in general, but loves bread best of all... she'll go through anything to get it. Needless to say, all of the bread in our house is well hidden!

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
