Thursday Dose of Cute: Chicken TV

Chicken TV 1

More photos below. . .

Or maybe it's Beagle TV.

It's hard to believe Bert has been with us four months already, yet in some ways it feels as if he's always been part of the farm—and the family. I am so in love with this little guy.

Just getting to know our busy beagle pup? You can read the story of how Bert (who only looks like he's still pudgy—that's all muscle now!) came to live with us here, and then catch up with him here and here.

The Daily Donkey 82: That Beagle Bert is Quick!

© FarmgirlFare.com, the slowly drying out (sun! wind!) and receding foodie farm blog where we never miss not having regular TV—and it isn't supposed to rain again until Saturday. Thank goodness.

  8. What a beautiful series of pics. Things getting better there? Amazing how attached I can get to the welfare of a woman and a farm I've yet to meet. (And Hunky, hellz.)

  10. Hi Everybody,
Thanks for all the nice comments. :)

    Em,
The Poultry Channel - I love it!

    Hey CC,
If I ever make it back to California (17 years and so far not a single trip back, LOL), you and I are definitely going to meet!

    Susanna,
My apologies for the delayed reply. That gorgeous guy (am I allowed to say that about my own rooster?) is a good old Missouri Mixed Breed. I just love his checkered overalls.

If you're interested, you can read more about how and where our mixed breed chickens came from in the comments section of this post.

    Cluck! Cluck! Cluck!

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
