January 2013 update: I know word verification is a big pain, but it's the only way I can stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I get every day. I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!
Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!
Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours is published.
I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

Happy Happy-you don’t look a day over 14 months there.
ReplyDeleteHope it was a grand day and all your family participated.
I remember 43-I moved from FL to CA. Best move I ever made. Shall I look for a place for you all ?~! <3
Dear Susan!
ReplyDeleteHappy happy birthday! What a fabulous picture of you all. It does fly by fast. All the more reminder to stop and smell the roses, isn't it? Great blessings on your special week (one day just is not enough :)). Enjoy!!!
Happy birthday - what a treasured photo. Hope amidst the farm work which never stops you have some time to be thoroughly spoilt!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Susan! Have a wonderful day and a super exciting and blessed new year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pair of cuties! You could have been the daughter I never had. Your mother and I share something very special in 1969.....my son was 42 on July 4th. He has a sibling also, a brother. So instead of curls, frilly things and someone to share cookie recipes with I got fishing, hunting and BBQ recipes!! I wouldn't change it for the world. 1969 was a good year as was 1973.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! You're "ripening" well.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I hope you had a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! My husband will be 43 in a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Susan. You were a darling baby and a darling older girl now. Love your blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! My son is 35, and I wonder where all the years have gone.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Susan. The best is yet to come!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Your one-year old picture is adorable. Thank you for sharing it. The time does fly by doesn't it? But every day is fun and adventure - and we love to read about yours. (Sorry it's one day late - I tried leaving a Comment yesterday, but I'm having some trouble with Google - that why this is from Anonymous :(. )

ReplyDeletewell y'all were just about too cute for words - happy birthday a little bit late - so it is looking like a possibility to move into the "big house"? you'll find it is wonderful to have heat in the winter and not frozen toezens!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Susan!
ReplyDeleteHere's to another 43 years of life on the farm!

Happy belated birthday! Here's hoping that the day (and the year) bring you wonderful things!
ReplyDeleteHope it was a happy birthday and that a great year ahead is in store for you. I am a July baby too and remember - the 40s are the new 30s! Hope you celebrated appropriately!

A great picture. Happy b'day!
ReplyDeleteI just knew there was something extra special about you, my son was also born in July of 1969. My very best wishes to you. Hope your b'day was a wonderful one for a wonderful lady!

PS My son has become enamored of your pita bread recipe -- he's made it 4 times in 3 weeks now. One of the best ways, he claims, is to cook in a cast iron skillet with a smidge of oil, on the stovetop -- no puffing, but great flavor.
Happy Birthday from me too Susan. Enjoy each day for the rest of your life. May you have many more birthdays. The picture is so cute.
ReplyDeleteBest love, and wishes. Sandra

ReplyDeleteOoo, happy belated birthday! I hope you got to do something fun. Like take a swim in the stock tank.
