January 2013 update: I know word verification is a big pain, but it's the only way I can stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I get every day. I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!
Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

Finally, some snowfall for you. Did you get through the quake okay?
ReplyDeleteNever thought you would leave shaky California to have them in Missouri, did you?
Hi Pat,
DeleteThe snow was wonderful. We haven't had nearly enough this year.
Earthquake? I guess I missed it. We're okay! :) Yeah, who knew there are earthquakes in Missouri, too. I did have some warning before moving here, though, as a friend told me about the big New Madrid fault. I had no idea.
Bert makes me laugh with every move. Such a funny little one. Pretty snow. Cape Cod has only seen a few inches this year and now we have spring, or it seems that way!
ReplyDeleteI love Bert's ears! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics and great blog - how I miss the winter! My two canine companions have me laughing at all sorts of antics but can also be very mischievous at times. http://vonniethehappyhippy.blogspot.com/2011/11/beware-banana-thieves-at-large.html
ReplyDeleteI bet Bert is the biggest clown!
ReplyDeleteI must say, I'm with you on the 'value' of dogs. To me, they are just all good, no negatives to them at all. The last time I visited an animal shelter, I left with the entire 'death row'....13 dogs. I found every one of them homes, including a 13 year old 3 legged, unneutered male German Shepherd who was going blind. He lived out his last days lying on a huge soft dog bed on the front porch of a wheelchair-bound older woman. She had his bed elevated slightly so she could scratch his head all day from her chair, while they sat and gossiped about passers by and blinked in the sun. At age 15, on a summer day, he yawned, laid his head down and passed away with her hand on his head.
ReplyDeleteI think dogs are better'n people most of the time. And yours are adorable.
I enjoy reading your blog and check it daily.
Thanks, Tracy
Hi Tracy,
DeleteWow, I don't know what I love more - that you rescued 13 dogs on death row (and managed to find homes for them all!), or the heartwarming story of that German Shepherd. That is really wonderful. I can only imagine how much happiness those two brought each other. I'm so glad you told us about it. What an amazing person you are. Thank you.
Love your site. I miss my Golden. He loves the snow!
