Fresh salad fixings from the organic heirloom kitchen garden.

Ready to do something really good for yourself? It's not too late to join me for Marianne Elliott's upcoming 30 Days of Yoga: A Lifetime of Well-Being. The preparatory lessons start next week.

You can read more about this wonderful course (which I've done before) here, and you can register here. I hope to see you there!

Meanwhile. . . (more photos below)

© FarmgirlFare.com, where you can't live on salad alone—and it may dip down down into the 30s tonight, so I've been harvesting basil like mad. Sunny and crisp today, the wind blowing through the trees like rushing water, two vintage quilts on the bed. I think it's finally fall. Yes.

  1. What a lovely bowl of fresh picked greens! Bert does look like he would rather have pizza though. LOL!!

  2. I've been harvesting basil like crazy recently, and freezing it in olive oil. The chives and oregano are getting frozen tomorrow in the ice cube trays with olive oil. The parsley will be next! But I admit I'm loving the 4+ quart bags of tomatoes that are frozen and ready for winter!!

  3. I just started a yoga course (for the first time since college 6 years ago) at my local parks and rec department and I am loving it so far.

I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!
