The words that come to mind are: thick, heady, sensuous, summer. Not super sweet or overpowering. They release their scent in the evening, and it's like it just hangs in the humid night air. There are several varieties available, with some growing four to five feet high. One year I had quite a bit of it in the garden, and when there was the slightest breeze headed just right, that wonderful smell rode right up through the windows and into the house. It was heavenly!

Hi Milgwimper,
Welcome to the farm! So glad you like it here. Oh, don't give up on nicotiana! Maybe try a different variety. It is so wonderful--and you already know you love it. : )Farmgirl Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04851855517852917202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-1122925405060511422005-08-01T14:43:00.000-05:002005-08-01T14:43:00.000-05:00Wow, I love nicotnia's although I have a black thu...Wow, I love nicotnia's although I have a black thumb growing them.
