I'm always still amazed by how much a snowfall changes the landscape. My favorite part is how the snow allows you to see the "lay of the land"--instead of just hills around us, I can see how they are all formed, etc. There's a word I'm looking for and it's not coming to me, but hopefully you know what I mean!

Hi Alisha,
To dry the wood or keep me warm? : )

Hi Clare,
LOL, good one. Oh the wood is still burnable. I just took out my handy broom and swept it off! (I've had practice sweeping off the snow on fallen trees when we've had to go cut firewood in the snow.) So then did I put a tarp over my nicely swept off wood? Of course not, as there was no more snow predicted. Then it snowed another half inch. : )

Hi Lacy,
The more years I spend on the farm, the better I get at seeing the beauty (and/or humor) in frustrating and stupid situations. : )Farmgirl Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04851855517852917202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-1140543088741439902006-02-21T11:31:00.000-06:002006-02-21T11:31:00.000-06:00But it sure is purty this way!But it sure is purty this way!Lacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10461162928527284407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-1140536946802448292006-02-21T09:49:00.000-06:002006-02-21T09:49:00.000-06:00EEK!Luckily the air must be very dry due to all of...EEK!
Luckily the air must be very dry due to all of the moisture being FROZEN!
So you should still be able to use the wood if it isn't stuck together?
I definately think you need a tarp....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-1140530778976222132006-02-21T08:06:00.000-06:002006-02-21T08:06:00.000-06:00Wet wood smokes. It's early morning and already in the low 60s today.Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03023970231181357567noreply@blogger.com
