They are so easy to prepare and always turn out amazing! The only parts I don't use are the ends because they end up getting burnt. But hey, I don't mind, it's like a preview treat for me! :)Amandanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-36197940847919705082011-03-24T19:13:48.660-05:002011-03-24T19:13:48.660-05:00Making these now, can't wait to taste them! Also added some softly dried bing cherries. Perhaps I had cantucci on the brain!
BTW- loved the things you learned along the way :)Lynnhttp://www.sacatomato.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-24240505473065723182008-04-25T03:55:00.000-05:002008-04-25T03:55:00.000-05:00I have some oil of almonds of plums. And what a great expression on "Oblivious'" face!!! :) Kitty is pretty cute, too...

Thank you for sharing the biscotti recipe. I screwed up a recipe for toffee a couple of weeks ago. I burnt it but didn't realize that it wasn't supposed to be black (uh... first time making the stuff), so I poured it into the pan, sprinkled the milk chocolate chips over, spread them around, sprinkled on the chopped toasted almonds. After it all cooled I tried a piece and YUK! Being the cheap-o that I am, I couldn't bear to toss it into the garbage disposal. So I slid the pan in the oven for a few minutes to soften, then scraped the milk-chocolate and almond topping off. I let it cool then wrapped it and stuck it in the refrigerator. I had no idea how I would use it until I saw your recipe-- eureka! I chopped the mixture up into tiny pieces then used this instead of the chocolate chips and almonds. It worked great! And tasted incredible!! Thank you, Susan, for the inspiration to transform my mistake into something wonderful. :)Viccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15836119827196914412noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-1145196762050810162006-04-16T09:12:00.000-05:002006-04-16T09:12:00.000-05:00I am with Beverley on this... does "anonymous" rea...I am with Beverley on this... does "anonymous" read the blog daily? yeash.... Long story short, the family got the 4 batches of chocolate/almond, but the fantasitic chocolate/pistachio I kept for myself.Stunned Donorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08760806404865427760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-1145086235429158692006-04-15T02:30:00.000-05:002006-04-15T02:30:00.000-05:00FGthis is beautiful work!
