Of course, neither of them would remember it.

Cindy at Rosehaven CottageCindy Garber Iversonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15543940998038589239noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-76495849632933109232008-03-09T10:00:00.000-05:002008-03-09T10:00:00.000-05:00That is too funny! Your writing is so very clever, and I feel like I know you enough that we'd be friends if I lived down the lane. It's popping up all over our family (southern folks). We have Savanna Rose and many other variations. Our youngest daughter is expecting her first baby who will be a "Rose" for the middle name.

Aunt Rose could have done worse. This "is" the south. My question is how hard is it for you to not only care for and love these animals as you do, but name them as well and then turn around and eat them for dinner? I think I would have a hard time with that.

I love all the pictures on your site. A local farmer, who lives on the way to my inlaws, gets about 100 lambs in each spring and the little white puffs scatter all over the hillside and I just love seeing them everyday. Something about it brings me joy. They just came yesterday so you're picture of "Auntie Rose" was very appropriate for me! And by the way, I like the name Auntie Rose - I actually have an Aunt Rose - literally.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-33301098768911452662008-03-05T07:45:00.000-06:002008-03-05T07:45:00.000-06:00very funny :)Auntie Rose is a cute name thoughvery funny :)

Auntie Rose is a cute name thoughpink dogwoodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00938574807898718022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-42867021731553056682008-03-04T21:13:00.000-06:002008-03-04T21:13:00.000-06:00Why not reame the sheep after your Mom!It will be ...Why not reame the sheep after your Mom!

It will be easy for everyone to remember?srhcbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06007109160584748993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-89532193047144270892008-03-04T21:03:00.000-06:002008-03-04T21:03:00.000-06:00Love the picture! Anyhooo - we have often allowed friends, kids of friends and assorted others to name our goats - ergo - a favorite doe named Norman, a goat named Hannah has a female kid named Montana (ala Mylie Cyrus) - but I love your mother - complete denial and disremembering (that was the line used in congressional hearings - I disremember that - DUH?)LindaSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01684545110832413808noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12997259.post-33199757117027006902008-03-04T19:39:00.000-06:002008-03-04T19:39:00.000-06:00What's wrong with Auntie Rose?
