Farm Stories & Farm Life Tidbits

© Copyright 2009 FarmgirlFare.com, the never content for long foodie farm blog where no matter what pasture the sheep are in or how incredibly tasty the grass is, eventually they always want to be on the other side of the fence—and if you look closely in this photo you'll see one of our wooly little sweethearts showing some autumn style with a dead leaf decoratively stuck to its rump.

  1. It's chilly here today. I just built a fire in the stove and looking at your picture of the girls, i thought "How nice it would be to grow a wooly coat in the winter." I could sure use one tonight. Guess I'll have to settle for a live 4-kitty lap blanket.

  8. Oh, how I wished we lived in the country. I LOVE sheep. I collect sheep, and I showed sheep all throughout HS, my kids both tried showing, and it wasn't for them, but we had sheep for a while here in town (very small town). Thanks for the very cute pics.

  12. How wonderful your girls are! Again and again, I say, let's move to a sheep farm. And the cat Domino looks at me with surprise, muttering that she should be enough. Not a whit. Your farm and sheep inspire me, as always.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
