© Copyright 2008, the award-winning blog where we've been sorting through old photos (thousands!) and finding all sorts of fun ones that somehow never got posted, like these two that were taken back on September 28th.

  1. Glad to see our feed troughs are not the only ones consistently overturned!

  2. They remind me of the groups of teenagers walking around town. You know they are up to no good too.

  3. I love it! Was Cary somewhere in the midst of those troublemakers?

  4. Sure. It's cute when they're scratching themselves on a post firmly anchored in the ground. Not so cute when they scratch themselves against a fence that doesn't seem able to hold up against 200 pounds of sheep and then it falls over so the sheep can escape.

Not that this has happened to me.

  5. Hey! Just discovered your blog and I'm loving it already!! Especially the donkey pics- I love donkeys. I'm actually in the process of deciding whether to make the move from city to farm at the moment and all you stories are totally inspiring! Oh, and I also LOVE baking bread.

  6. Well some people have told me that wool is itchy. The posts are the perfect solution!

  7. What a hoot! The notorious Scratching Post Gang obviously herd together..........unlike SOME of us.

  8. This reminds me of Shaun the Sheep they are always getting into trouble and lucky enough to get away with it! LOL

  9. I love this story/picture thankful you carry that camera with you :) It just brightens my day!

  10. I love how they've created their own gang.

  11. Love that picture! You got an itch! you gotta scratch it!

  12. They look like busy girls! Really cute photo.

  13. I made your Honey Bran Whole Wheat bread this morning. Rave reviews, thanks for sharing.

    And love your blog

  14. How is Ms. Carry doing? Did I miss a post about her? Does she react any differently to you than the others?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you are able to move into your new digs sooner than later.

  15. we dont have sheep in vietnam, but we have National Instiute of Animal Husbandry. you can see here

  16. sheeps makes me think about a coat from fleece, lol, by the way, i have never had any, but it is still great.
let take a look at my blog also Tara

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
