December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.
Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!
Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.
I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
Hi, I was wondering if Whitey and Cary was still alive? Those were such touching entries and that was how I started to learn about your wonderful blog and followed all your well written stories!

There's always something special about a story teller. It's like following the pied piper in a perfunctory glassy-eyed stage of wonder. The words become inviting and soon you're lost listening to their experience being painted with eloquence, familiarity and experience in the colorful ramblings of the story teller. Well done.
DeleteThanks, Kelley.
DeleteHsinru Social,
I'm so glad you enjoyed those stories. Cary is alive and well and just turned six (!) last month. I had some photos ready for my annual Cary birthday post but it somehow got forgotten in the craziness that is every day life around here, lol.
I'm afraid dear Whitey The Chicken died a few weeks ago. I want to put up a farewell post to her, since that bossy little 12 year old hen had a lot of fans, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Part of me still keeps looking for her when I enter the coop. She moved to this farm just a short time after I did. :)
Happy 6th b-day to Cary! I was wondering when I didn't see the annual post. I'm sorry to hear about Whitey. I'm catching up in the archives, and just finished the summer where she hatched her first set of chicks. She was quite the personality.

Chickens are so cute when they're curious. : )
ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
DeleteAren't they though? The chickens are always cracking me up.
