Coming Out of the Creekbed On the Way Back from Doing Chores

Autumn color is always welcome. It's the decrease in daylight that I'm having a hard time dealing with. It's dark by 5pm now. Now, if I had a puppy or kitten to cuddle with, I think it would be ok.
ReplyDeleteI love watching dogs walk home. They have such a sense of pride :)
ReplyDeleteLove your photos. I follow your blog in Google Reader but didn't know til this AM where you were based. Missouri, I see.
ReplyDeleteBorn there but have not spent much time there. Am saving for a homestead and Missouri is one of my potential states!
Another beautiful autumn photo of your beautiful area with that sweet, sweet dog - thanks for sharing it with us, and reminding us of what's really important.
ReplyDeleteColor. But that might just be because autumn around here tends to be sort of rainy, so not so much with the light.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your blog---the pictures, the comments.

Hi Farmgirl Susan,
ReplyDeleteLucky Buddy Bear looks like he is having a great time...You always make everything look so special, you have a keen eye for photos.
I must ask how is your new house and bakery coming along. When are you going to move in....Have a good evening.

I agree with Sharon, how about an update?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo. My grandpa had a dog named Buddy and our dog was named Henry. Coincidentally, my grandpa's brother was Bud and he was Hank (Henry). Too funny. Beloved companions they were. Farm dogs love to work, need to work, and love you more for it.
Great picture, it sparked such happy memories for me!
Should the pan be greased and floured?
ReplyDeleteSuch a Beautiful Photo!! I reminds me of my childhood in Iowa :)
