© Copyright 2009, the craning your neck foodie farm blog where one of the best things about living miles from anyone is looking up on a clear, dark night—and last night at about 1:00 when I was crunching my way through the frosty grass in the front field to check on Dolores after a very long day off the farm (still no baby donkey news yet!) it truly looked as if there were more stars up there than sky. Amazing.

  1. Since you have clear sky, you might enjoy this:

  2. this sounds silly but this reminded me of the movie Land Before Time where the dinosaur looks up and finds the last star-tree leaf

Poor Delores. Perhaps she's just REALLY constipated?

  4. Beautiful sky! I'm in Scotland at the moment, and the sky hasn't been clear for weeks.

P.S. Tell us immediately when the new baby donkey arrives!

  5. Hi, Susan, thank you so much for visiting my blog and taking time to leave such a nice comment. It's nice to meet you. Your farm looks amazing and I absolutely love your blog banner! Thanks again and I hope you're having a good weekend.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
