One of my favorite photos (taken way back when I was still shooting with film) is of a black cat curled up in an old enamelware bowl, which was sitting in a slightly bigger enamelware bowl, which was sitting on a round patio table. That was one pleased pussycat. There is an exception to the happy cats on high rule: Smudge during leaf season.

ReplyDeleteThey love to be "on" things and "in" things. I used to love grocery day back when everybody used paper sacks. The cat would have so much fun throwing herself in the empty paper bags and scooting around on the floor.
Sometimes I think we love our cats so because they remind us how important it is to play.
I used to have a lot of cats.

Cats love being up high. The top of a pickup or the top of the frig. Both are a perfect for cats who appreciate altitude over attitude.
