  1. Oh, how adorable! We just recently rescued a Pyrenees and are smitten. You can see him dressed like a pirate here:

...and read the story of how he was rescued after being shot:

  2. I'm beginning to think that, that is Daisy's favorite spot. I love them pup dog pics. The lambs are pretty darn cute too.

  3. Cute pics of Daisy! It looks like the momma sheep is checking to make sure she is okay! :)

  4. So, Daisy's just showing those lambs how it's done. Or she's inviting them for a cuddle. Either way - cutest.

  5. Don't get me wrong...I love them all. The sheep and lambs, donkeys, cattle, chicken, llamas, horses....you name it. But dogs? Dogs are simply the best. And that sweet Daisy is right up there with the best of them. Thanks for the pictures. Love the written posts, too.

  6. I see Friendly's lambs nursing in the background. How long do the ewes nurse the lambs? The lambs look so big already! She looks like such a great mother....

  7. It took me a second to realize the dog wasn't a sheep!

  8. Sweet Beautiful Daisy, looks like the baby lamb not quite sure who Mom is!

  9. The fact that the ewe lets her little ones around the dog says a great deal about Daisy's temperament.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
