Hi Farmgirl. This is one of the cutest photos so far I think. It just looks as if Gnat is concentrating really hard to get those odd shaped things in his mouth (before mum or someone else eats them all I guess). What are they? CBV

ReplyDeleteThose are Very Special Donkey Treats, also known as cattle cubes or range cubes (but shhhh, don't tell the donkeys). They're a 20% protein, all natural plant based, vegetarian vitamin and mineral supplement that the donkeys (and the Angus beef steers we raise every few years) LOVE. So do some thieving sheep. And Bert has been known to gnaw on a few, too. ;)
