© Copyright 2008 FarmgirlFare.com, the award-winning blog where little Evie—who is already seriously fluffing up for winter—has finally (finally!) crossed over into the Land of Lets You Hug & Pet Her. I'm absolutely thrilled, but little attention hound Esmeralda is not liking the fact that now she only gets scratched and snuggled with one hand instead of two.
Oh great dose of cute! I've been fluffing up for winter too - but perhaps not in the same way? Cakes and cookies and ice cream oh MY!
ReplyDeleteEvie makes you work for her love!
ReplyDeleteThey are too cute! When my hubby and I had our honeymoon, we stayed at a bed and breakfast that had mini donkeys! Of course, I've wanted one ever since :).
ReplyDeleteDid y'all get drenched over the weekend? we actually did our emergency preparations (gas cans for generator, candles and plenty of pantry stocked up) . . barely got a half inch of rain! Looks like Ike ran east and north quickly.
ReplyDeleteI am moving to southwest Missouri RIGHT NOW to love on baby donkeys.
ReplyDeleteOh that is a great dose of cuteness!
ReplyDeleteI am curious to know what is the benefit to having a pack of donkeys on the farm, aside from their cuteness, of course. Do they act as an alarm system or scare off predators?

Just look at those ears :)
ReplyDeleteWow! I'm so glad I found your site. I have been searching for others who do some of what we do and am happy to have found you. I know I will enjoy looking through your archives:-).
ReplyDeleteWhat a big baby! They grow up so fast :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd that "here a nibble, there a nibble" reminded me of that "pick a little, talk a little" song from The Music Man. Cheep-cheep-cheep / Pick a lot, talk a little! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi, I am a guide dog raiser in Seattle, WA. The puppy I am currently raising is named Shep. I love your blog and I love reading about other people’s pet experiences. I also have a website where I sell pet supplies and i have a blog on it also about guide dogs. I built the site to try and help raise money for guide dogs and other animal charities.
