We had 11 sets of twin lambs born this spring (one of these days I'll get around to posting a lambing season final report), and it's so sweet to see how much they love to stay together.

It's always lambing season online!

© Copyright 2010, the ridiculously hot and humid (but very thankful for last night's nearly 2 inches of rain) foodie farm blog where we're all a little whupped around here—some of us from putting up hay (and the heat), some of us from putting away grass (and the heat), and some of us from just being so darn cute (no matter what the weather). One of us is also really behind replying to your questions in the comments, so thanks for your patience.

  1. Your babies are absolutley gorgeous. How do you even get anything done? I'd just be petting and talking to them all day.

  2. I'm with JC. I'd be completely useless for anything other than snuggling!

  3. Too cute. I love how scruffy their coat is getting. Also can I come live with you?...LMAO.

  4. I can't decide which one is my favorite!! All so cute!

  5. Wow! Eleven sets of twin lambs - whew!! I agree with everyone else, how do you ever get anything else done - I'd just want to look at them all the time. They are too precious.

(My word verification for this Comment is - gosit. Is that a hint? Kinda funny, huh?)

  6. The baby lambs are so cute, but I love the serene expressions on the momma-sheep faces. I hope you get some relief from the heat soon (and congrats on the rainfall, hopefully it leads to a great second cutting!)

  7. Your baby lambs are so adorable. I see the mamma is looking after them. Rose

  8. I just want to take them all home and hug them. Oh the faces!!!

  9. Sooo cute! I want to pet them and play with them and feed them.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
