Farm Photo 10/31/07: Happy Halloween!

Scare Cat

I know she isn't the traditional black, but this isn't a once-a-year thing for her either. Four-and-a-half-pound Molly Doodlebug (aka The Doodle Monster) does this to Bear every chance she gets.

  1. WOW - talk about a cattitude! Watch out Bear - cat attack imminent!

  2. That little mite looks hysterical!

  3. that's my doodle girl !

  4. brilliant photo!!
My cat is more likely to lick our Australian Shepherd's paws, they love each other way too much :)

  5. What a perfect Halloween pic - ears pricked up and all. :)

  6. Oh man, that made me LOL! Ms.Doodlebug is so unique (my fave is still the one where she's hiding under the overturned cooler, waiting, plotting...).
I tuned in today wondering if perhaps you'd put a mask of some sort on baby Caraway, darn!

  7. Must be a Molly-cat kind of thing...Our Molly does something like that everything she sees Shadow coming to visit, and he's so mellow, he just sits and takes the abuse.

  8. That Doodle, she is small but mighty.

And also - 4 1/2 pounds? Why don't you feed your cat? She is the size of my toe.

  9. wow i'm impressed! Nice picture ! How did you get her to do that?

  10. She may not be black, but she's the perfect Halloween orange color! With the perfect arched back to boot.

    Happy Halloween.

  11. What an adorable cat. Oh wait, I mean what a totally scary creature!

  12. susan just to let you know am here in florida work of course. been a while and i love this pic...

  13. My cat looks like that...but without the snarling a 'scawey kitty'!

  14. Wow, very Halloweenesque! Molly Doodlebug is a cat with attitude! That makes no doubt...

  15. Oh nicely captured! What a fierce sweetie:)

  16. Oh goodness! I guess when you're that small you have to look ultra-ferocious. She's a little pint-sized cougar (cougar-ette?)! Cindy at Rosehaven Cottage

  17. Haha! Love that cat! Happy belated Halloween!

  18. Just a note to say that I've tagged you for the You Make Me Smile Award. I've enjoyed reading your blog over the past year—thank you for your wonderful recipes and perspective on life!
