© Copyright 2010 FarmgirlFare.com, the maximum security foodie farm blog where all sheep like to feel protected when they're resting, though they usually don't go to such extremes—tucked behind bars, blocked by mom, and guarded by faithful stock dog Lucky Buddy Bear. But this little lamb knows just how much I want to snatch her up and snuggle her, and lambs aren't much into cuddling. Yep, that's right—she's very, very safe from me.
Only bottle babies like to cuddle and that's too much work. Stuffed animals are easier.
ReplyDeletePerhaps this is the witness protection detail for little lambs?
ReplyDeleteBEEEAAAAR! What a happy nanny dog he must be right now.
ReplyDeleteNice colored lamb do you have any wool from this one or is it still a baby? Is this a hair breed as well?
ReplyDeleteHi Everybody,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments!
Cintia,
This lamb, who was born at the end of April, is half wool sheep and half Katahdin hair sheep. She'll need to be sheared, but not until late next winter - about a month before the 2011 lambing season begins.
Nice I would love to have some when you shear her I love textured wools and make a lot of rugs. Please keep me in mind :)
