Friday Dose of Cute: May Day! May Day!

We Have a Situation Involving Extreme Cuteness in the Barnyard—Approach with Caution

Maaaaaaaaaaaa!

© Copyright 2009 FarmgirlFare.com, the leafing out all over foodie farm blog where it's hard to decide which is cuter—the biggest pink nose on a little lamb we've ever seen, or those black spots on the tips of her ears. Oh, the difficult decisions we're forced to make on the farm.

  1. What a cutie - doesn't her coat look soft, I just want to give her a cuddle.

  3. Too cute for words, just makes me want to scoop up little lambie and cuddle. I really wonder how you manage to get anything done around the farm ~ let alone cook and bake. I am hoping if the dust stops flying around in my life I can try the recipe from yesterday - looks yummy......and hopefully fool (as in me) proof!! Maybe tomorrow!

  4. So adorable! Lambing season must be just a cuteness overload - between the hours and days and weeks of hard work, that is!

  5. I just vote for cuddling her a bit and perhaps a little spf 15 on that pink nose! One of our nubian goat kids has white ears and suffering from a touch of burn this year - ah the curses of cuteness (at least that is my observation - never had that problem personally!)

  7. I don't think you can die from 'cutenss overload', but these pictures are just about to kill me!! Honestly, these babies are soooooo adorable! As Michele wondered, "how do you manage to get anything done around the farm?" I would just have to spend all of my time cuddling the babies. Thanks for sharing these pictures with us!

  8. Ack! I'm bubbling over all over the couch from cuteness disease! Too adorable. Do you rent them out for cuddles?

I agree, that little one needs a little spf on her pink nosey and on the ear rims.

    Argh...so cute!

  9. HAAAAA. I think that's the best title you've ever written.

    The lamb's not bad, either.

  10. Darn it! I was going to say "too cute for words" but Michele beat me to it!

This little one could be a contender for a new "name that lamb" contest...whatayathink?

  11. What a little honey! Wish I had a yard and then maybe I could borrow her for a weekend?

  12. Susan,
In lambing seasons past, it seems like you had more black lambs who turned white later. This year, your babies are white at birth. Are they a different variety? Or perhaps I'm hallucinating? Maybe it's earlyearlyearly-onset alzheimers?
Still loving your blog after all these years =) (3 or 4, I think)

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
