When it was time to work this group of 17 sheep on Friday, they were once again (that would be Version One) way out at the far end of the front field, grazing in the autumn sun while being guarded by Marta Beast.

This time we all decided to hike out and get them.
Certain members of the Mole Patrol kept getting sidetracked.
Once we finally had their attention, herding the sheep into the barn was no problem.
And everyone enjoyed this scenic extra 'work.'

The color of the trees is just gorgeous! Looks like it was a beautiful day to be out with the critters! :)

ReplyDeleteYou live in such a gloriously beautiful place. I'm a bit envious every time I see the trees and hills and meadows. Living in the country is one dream that'll never happen for me, so I scratch that itch with visits to blogs like yours.
