Tuesday Dose of Cute: Spring Has Sprung!

Mr. Midnight under the flowering quince - FarmgirlFare.com
In all its blooming glory.

More about this flowering quince? Here.

© FarmgirlFare.com, where our mild winter and several week long warm spell (in the 70s again today) seems to have pushed everything at least two or three weeks ahead of schedule. The quince bush doesn't usually flower until April, and the daffodils have already finished blooming. The Easter tulip buds started popping up days ago. It's pretty, but kind of weird.

  1. Mr. Midnight is beautiful. I have a black cat - a Bombay - named Kenny G. He has large, oval eyes and is very long. He resembles a puma. My cats are confined to a special cat yard and they do love basking in the sun. Today was 81 degrees and a perfect cat day

  2. This is the first cat photo I recall seeing on your blog. It's lovely, with the flowers, too. I always adore your photos of donkeys and lambs, and this one is very special, too. Thanks for always posting photos and recipes. Though I hardly ever write, I love reading them every day.

  3. Oh, I'm going to have to plant quince. Everything that has bloomed here was either white or yellow - mostly yellow. I'm craving some beautiful pink flowers. Thanks for that.

  6. Our weather is equally weird 81 yesterday, 83 today! The forsythia are in bloom (waaaay ahead of normal!) The strangest winter/spring that I can remember. It kinda makes me wonder what's going to happen in July???

Mr. Midnight is such a handsome guy and that flowering quince is stunning. I'm going to have to see if they will do well in this region; I'd like to plant some here.

Thanks for the lovely pictures! I truly enjoy your posts.
