© FarmgirlFare.com, where 73 degrees at 10pm tonight feels like an April Fool's joke, but isn't—nor was today's high of 88. Everything is showing up so early this year, including the whippoorwills. Can you hear them? Whippoorwill! Whipoorwill! Whippoorwill!

  3. It was 80 yesterday here in Denver today it is only supposed to be 48. So maybe that will be your way on WE?

  4. Mr. Bert looks like he is starting to mellow down from his reckless youth. Or maybe just tired from his weekend!

  5. I think Bert was licking the lambie kisses off! ;-)

  6. That Bert is such a cutie (not to mention the lamb!).

88 degrees on April 1??? Yikes! I can only imagine what this summer may have in store for us.
Maybe that was MotherbNature's idea of an April Fool's Day joke. Let's hope so.

  7. What a well mannered dog, so respectful to the wee lambie. Averting his gaze to avoid conflict. Stressful business, deferring to sheep... "lick, pant".

  9. What a great dog Bert is. I have this dialogue for the lamb running in my head...well, he's kind of my size, but he sure doesn't smell like me! Guess I need to get a little closer....

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
