© 2008 FarmgirlFare.com, the award-winning blog where we're all extremely grateful the latest humid heat wave has finally broken because, whether you're covered with wool or not, there are only so many days a heat index of 110 degrees is bearable on a farm (especially if you're not a summer person) — and sometimes our new portable electric sheep fencing (which Lottie isn't actually touching in the top photo) doubles as crowd control.

  1. I love that they are giving the "ol girl" her due and not trying to take the reins. I knew those pups were smart.

I hope that things are well with you.

  2. Ooo, you have the special sheep electric fencing. How's that working out? We were thinking of getting some, if the usefulness justifies the expense.

  4. Your puppies have grown so big! Mine are just a little bigger than a good loaf of bread.
I am loving your adventures and your animals. Thanks!

  5. We have the same fencing for our goat farm! Or similiar, I think. Ours has the more rigid vertical stays. Anyway, we love it.

  6. Are those puppies?
    Do they live outside?

  10. I believe Robin is grateful for the electric puppy fencing. Love from a slight distance is still quite acceptable.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
