Works every time. And I don't know how in the world Esmeralda's ear bent down like it did in that second photo (I've never seen a donkey ear do that), but I love how she seems to be smiling in the first. Oh, these wonderful donkeys!

Sitting in rainy New England, sipping coffee, and SMILING ear to ear. That was a HUGE dose of cute. Donkeyland...makes me happy, too!
