Tuesday Dose of Cute: Off to Vote

Cheeky Heading off to Vote
See you at the polls!

Want to get to know our feathered farmyard friends better? You'll find links to all sorts of chicken photos here. And we keep links to the baby chick photos here.

© 2010 FarmgirlFare.com, the equal treats for all foodie farm blog where we know that every vote really does matter. Way out here in the country, many elections are literally decided by three or four votes. The most important thing isn't who or what you vote for—it's that you exercise your precious right to cast yours. Just please don't let Cheeky know that, except for barnyard ballots, chicken votes still don't count.

  1. LOL this picture cracks me up, I guess because she looks like she really is strutting off to do something important! ;>

  2. At our house the chickens vastly outnumber the rest of us animals put together, so their vote counts for a lot. This year they're voting for a mandatory death penalty for raccoons that break into the yard, to prohibit Cooper's hawk flights between the hours of 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., and for heated roosts in the winter. Alan and his Fuzzbutt babies oppose the latter, however, they would rather come in by the woodstove at night.

  3. My hubby went in this AM and I'll stop by this PM. He always makes sure to remind me, like a 100 times....

  4. already voted here in st. louis. hoping we don't totally screw up our state!!!!

  5. Cute photo. I voted also. Have a great day!!!!t

  6. Love the chicken "bloomers". Love the message. Vote, Vote, Vote! Vote with your head and heart!

  7. You know I love your chicken photos because I do not have any!!

  8. The title of your post made me laugh out loud...thank you. I love chickens. I have a small flock now but I think I am going to get a few more black giants, they lay all winter. I enjoy your blog and all your pics...great job!

  9. I voted! I enjoy exercising that right! Glad to hear that you did as well. :) Have a great week! (weekend, I guess the week is just about over)

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
