  1. Hi! I just love your farm pictures. My husband & I want to have chickens & donkeys someday when we're done moving all over the place for his work. Until then, I can live vicariously through you. Thanks for sharing!!!

  2. That looks like a very nice dust bed she's made for herself there.

By the way, I made your tomato and pesto pie last night. And I'm eating some AT THIS VERY MOMENT for lunch. YUM. My husband and I both thank you.

i had short-notice company last night and tried your emerg choc cake. it was fast and yummy (though mine did sink quite a bit in the center)! thanks from both of us and our tummies!

  4. That is just too cute. I just found your blog and I love it. As a fellow Missourian (though not nearly the farmer you are - we're barely gardeners living in an apartment, but we try), it's exciting to see what all is possible. I will definitely be back for another visit!

  7. I never knew I could want a donkey so much! She is so sweet. However, just like Sharilyn in southern California, it would be pretty difficult in the city.
Thanks for letting us share your 'farm life'

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
