Wonderful Wild Animal Sanctuary Update!
(Click here if you missed my original post about the big cats and other exotic animals who need our help). The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado was forced to close its doors to visitors on September 2nd, but because they have received so many donations and promises of donations, they have enough money to keep operating and hope to keep the animals there indefinitely!
Click here to read the latest closing update on their website. Many, many thanks to all of you generously made donations and wrote about the Wild Animal Sanctuary on your own blogs. Please keep spreading the word! IT REALLY IS WORKING!

My kids and I are thrilled to hear about the animal sanctuary - what good news! My daughter is a tiger lover, so she's been really concerned.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that everyone (especially you) was able to make a difference.
So glad to hear about the sanctuary.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love kitty weekends. OK and doggie weekends. And when you get right down to it, Cary days.
Thanks for the update on the WAS. Their video is completely heartbreaking and a reminder of how this place and others like it are so important.
ReplyDeleteThere's my girl...look at that face !
ReplyDeleteShe always looks like she is ready to pounce on something -- such a darling little feisty face! Cute, but daaaaaaaaaangerous.
