Lady Llama
No, she isn't still nameless. Yes, I think we chose a lovely name. No, I haven't announced it yet. Yes, I have an excuse. Well of course I'll tell you what her name is. When? I'm sure you know the answer to that--soon! (And I hope to reply to your comments on Sunday's "The Ears Tell The Story" photo very soon.)

She's a pretty girl. Do you think she will have a cria (baby)? Are you breeding them like you have the sheep? I want a llama or alpaca sooo bad. But we don't have a big enough place for one.
ReplyDeleteWhat can we (I include others whom have asked) do to encourage you to post your Oatmeal Toasting Bread recipe? Please do let us know!
Have a great day!
It's probably a given at this point, but I love the llamas. Those ears! I want to bear hug their big furry bodies atop those knobby knees. Hilarious and cute at once.
ReplyDeleteIt is also possible that I've fantasized with hubby about the prospect of trading in corporate life to start an alpaca farm. Or just move somewhere that would have enough room for a couple llamas.
Any chance you will elaborate on Life with Llama? If nothing else, it might deter me from trying to keep one in my backyard.
Is the Lady expecting?
ReplyDeleteWe have a family farm (I "kid" you not! Pun intended.) in the middle of Plano, Tx, that has been there 100+ years (in the middle of a huge suburban town!). They have multiple horses, cows, sheep, and lastly a herd of around 25 of these gorgous creatures. They are soooooo graceful. I love the mountains more than the ocean, but right now, I'd take either! LOL!!! ...or crying in my heart.

Gorgeous? G-o-r-g-e-o-u-s. Gorgeous! There! Thank goodness that I caught that one...
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I really want your oatmeal toasting bread recipe. I made a recipe today from a well loved site of Oatmeal Dinner rolls.. and they are AWESOME! I am going to make another batch on Wednesday, take pictures, and post the recipe for it --- but I don't know how it would do in "loaf" form -- they are yummy. Anywho -- looking forward to the Lady Llama's name to be announced and recipe request!
ReplyDeleteHave a great evening!
She is just beautiful! I'm looking forward to some close-ups!
ReplyDeleteLovely. One of my friends raises llamas. All of theirs are named for Dr. Seuss characters.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful lady.
ReplyDeletePlease name her Tina!!
