This is the little milk face guy you met the other day. He's doing just fine, nurses like a pro, and is having no trouble keeping up with the bigger kids in the barnyard. He's already grown so much since I snapped these baby pictures last week you'd hardly recognize him now, but I couldn't resist sharing them with you.
© Copyright 2008 FarmgirlFare.com, the award-winning blog where it's the height of lambing season, but after nearly three weeks past the first due date we only have five lambs on the ground and at least 20 still-pregnant ewes. Did Studly Do Right Jefferson decide to make his one and only job last a little longer last fall or what? And why do I have this feeling the rest of the lambs are all going to arrive at once?
I love the daily dose of cute! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHow tiny and yet so perfect! Doesn't your heart just melt looking at all of them?
ReplyDeleteToo cute.
ReplyDeleteLooks like he's wearing a sweater in pic 1.
He is a beautiful lamb. The black lambs are one of the reasons why we chose Suffolks as our breed, the speckly cross breeds are cute too.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Studly Do Right did some late work? Beautiful babies from him -guess he figures better late than never right? Trusting the gals don't all decide to "bingo" on the same 24 hour period! Glad for the update on the little guy who didn't like milk at first - you are a good surrogate.
ReplyDeleteCuteness overdose.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Carolyn
So glad he is eating well, now. It's always a heart-break when someone is not doing well and then just slips away!
ReplyDeleteThose ears, I could just fondle them. My, that doesn't sound very good does it?
ReplyDeletedefinitely cute
ReplyDeleteSo, so sweet.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, they are all so darling. I'm glad the eating-challenge has been resolved.
ReplyDeleteNow just how precious is that! :)
ReplyDeleteI just love all the babies. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love all the babies!! And I'm so glad that he's nursing like a pro!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! He's gorgeous. I'm so glad he figured out the feeding talent.
ReplyDeleteI'm on a "farm" in Illinois, but I don't get to see many baby lambs! This WAS a daily dose of cute - thanks for sharing the sweet pictures. . .
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! Makes me wish I had a farm, I think the 6 chicks I have ordered for later this month and my little garden are all I can handle though!
ReplyDeleteI just love the pictures of your little lammies! So Sweet. So Spring.
