December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.
Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!
Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.
I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.
I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
That pic is so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to leave a comment letting you know that I have been trying to catch up on older entries about your farming experience. It has been most fascinating!! I am doing sort of an "Urban Homesteading" thing. I have a garden going, use the frugal stock-up method and am employing as many "Simple-Living" techniques as I can find. The recipes that you post are equally as fascinating to me. I plan to stop by regularly, and look forward to future posts.
How about "Emmie Lou?" Sounds like a sweet country lass.
ReplyDelete(That's my grown neice's nickname.)
The donkey cuteness is my favorite! Don't get me wrong...I love, LOVE, the lambs, but there's just something about baby donkeys! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteElla. Could be short for Ellie May or for Cinderella. She is a princess, after all! I never knew donkey's could be so adorable! Hey, even Dan is adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat is a cute little ass.
ReplyDeleteHow absouletly adorable! And a great b-day present, I agree. (I'm a July baby too; I turn 40 today!)
ReplyDeleteFor names, how 'bout Ethel. Second choice would be Ellie Mae.
I visit your site every day for your great photos, comments, and recipes. You live an amazing life. Thanks for sharing.
So cute! What a life you lead! :)
ReplyDeleteTerrific picture - those donkey babies are giving lambs a run for the "cuteness" prize! I'll make one last plea for naming - check the blog and see if your little sassy mcthing isn't an Ethel Emma to the bone?

OK I won't pitch it any more - and loving those baby pictures!
Oh she's a beauty! How about Eensie.
ReplyDeleteLove the baby donkey pictures. We have donkeys, too, and last year's baby, April-Michele, also would run around that imaginary track at 60 mph, then finally after maybe 4 cycles, head back to ma for a drink.
ReplyDeleteYour babies are as cute as a button. My names would be Earlene (cause of those magnificent EARS), or how about Echinacea, the lovely flower.
What a cutie :-) Congratulations Farmgirl on your new addition!
ReplyDeleteEllabella, or ellabelle?
ReplyDeleteAs anyone ever told you that you have a cute ass? LOL
ReplyDeleteI love her!
I so love your blog and the donkey family. The newest baby could be Edna Mae??
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.

Cute, cute, cute donkey babies! How about Eudora? That great southern lady Eudora Welty would be tickled, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteOops, I made my suggestion on the wrong day. I was thinking Esmé might suit your darling donkey.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute little darling. As for an E name, I happen to like my own...Edie! (like Edy's ice cream, just a different spelling).
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you'll choose, it took me 2 weeks to name our cat Mira.
Esmarelda...is that a name? And I might not have spelled it correctly.
ReplyDeleteShe is some kinda cute donkey! She looks so tiny.
How about Ermingard? I agree with everyone else--she is super-cute!
ReplyDeleteOne would bet that you never have to watch TV to be entertained.
ReplyDeleteFor a donkey name- Endy - just a little diffrent from the indy cars and just as fast- at least in her mind. haha
Where its mom has gone? For shopping?
