© Copyright 2010 FarmgirlFare.com, the whupped foodie farm blog where between putting up a longer than planned kitchen garden blog post about growing onions (do you grow onions? come chime in!) and yet another trip to town (this time to spend a whopping $477 on new tires for the flatbed trailer that we only use a couple of times a year but are never able to use because it always has three flats), today's post is shorter than planned. Now there's a piping hot homemade pizza topped with homegrown beef pepperoni, a Harry Potter DVD, a comfy reclining loveseat, and an equally whupped hunky farmguy calling my name, so I'll see you (after yet another trip to town in the name of vintage tractor repair) tomorrow.
So freaking cute! Is anything more adorable than little lambies?

Oh my goodness. Those might be the ONLY lambs I could eat up. And I wouldn't really eat 'em as much as just hug and love on 'em, they're so sweet.
ReplyDeleteOH! Oh! Oh! I can't help myself! I want to cuddle them until they squeal! Or bleat. They bleat, Right?
ReplyDeleteabsolutely some of the prettiest lambs I've ever seen - well done! aren't tired so expensive it makes you hyperventilate? the pizza, movie, recliner and hunky all sound fine - no mention of wine in there but I think it is an oversight LOL! Hope you didn't get any of the nasty weather Arkansas seem to have.
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that! Fixing tractors and other equipment that is. When our son was about 9 he asked his father one day, "Dad do we fix things to farm or farm to fix things?" His father had no reply.
ReplyDeleteOur son found his vocation however, in the parts room and now can find you any part for anything. From farming equipment to Fords to snow equipment.
Good luck on the trips to town, but the new lambs you found at home were worth the trip.

OMGoodness! They almost look like stuffed toys! I want them! They're so absolutely cute!
ReplyDeleteYou have killed me with the cuteness of those babies.
ReplyDeleteWithout question that is the best picture!!! They are gorgeous! Their mom must be so proud of them. Don't you just want to give them the biggest hug? Please give them a hug and a scratch on the head from me.
ReplyDeleteHow can you go to town to buy tires when you could just stay home and look at them all day? :)
The are sooooo cute. Cookie and Cream.
ReplyDelete~THEY ARE SO CUTE, WHO COULD EAT THEM?? THEY LOOK LIKE STUFFED TEDDY BEARS, I MEAN, LAMBS :)
ReplyDeleteI knew I loved the chocolate lamb! He knows how to relax.
ReplyDeleteSo CUTE !!!
ReplyDeleteIf I showed this to my husband, he'd probably never eat lamb again!
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about this picture is that little foot. How often do we get to see little lamb feet? Not often enough, I say. Good luck with the equipment repairs, it's a never-ending battle against time & the elements of Nature to keep those machines humming (or at least grumbling to life).
ReplyDeleteDelicious
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious picture. Just want to nuzzle them!
ReplyDeleteI really hope that lambs like to cuddle, because if I walked into the barn and saw that little pink nose sitting in the food dish, I would be forced to spoon with him (her?) immediately.
ReplyDeleteSO SWEET.
Ohhh....I think I'm in love. Is this "g" year? Gorgeous George & Girlie Ghost?
ReplyDeleteoh so cute!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen anything more cute than this! I want some!
ReplyDeleteThe twins are so incredibly adorable! I wish my kids and I could see them in person :) They need to be photographed and put on a calendar or something!!
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh!!! Sooo cute!!!
ReplyDeleteAny chance of seeing the new sheep barn? We are about to start raising StCroix sheep and I am looking for ideas......love your blog...would it be possible to email you personally with questions??? Thank you
ReplyDeleteMarianne
Honestly, this might be the cutest lamb photo you have ever posted. Those faces!!!!! I started out seriously jonesing for the chocolate lamb, but the little white face is now calling my name too. How do you ever leave the barn???? Although your evening sounds pretty perfect (with the addition of wine and dark chocolate!!!!!)
ReplyDeleteThis photo is so full of cute, I wonder if somehow you surgically added more cute into it. Ohmigosh.
ReplyDeleteLook at the little feet!
Oh MY!!! I love those babies and I can't wait to see more!
ReplyDeleteWe understand very well about antique tractors...ours is a Ford 800 and although it takes some time to start it every spring, it works awesome!
I just blogged about my lambs - they're so freakin' cute it's hard not to:) Nice to find another blog of a gal finding her roots in the country. We're in Eastern Ontario, and I read your post on shearing with envy - not the shearing, but the fact that it's warm enough to do it:)
ReplyDeleteholy cow (i mean sheep) they are so cute!!!! If I lived on a farm I would def get one of those!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Everybody,
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the fun comments! And I always appreciate feedback because then I know what kind of pictures you enjoy the most.
These little lambs really are too cute - and soft. It's nice having twins, because then you can snuggle one while looking at the other one. : )
Marianne,
Yes, construction pictures of the new sheep barn are definitely on my ever-expanding Really Need To Do Now list, but they keep getting bumped down. One of these days, I promise!
And yes, you (and anyone else) are welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com. I'll do my best to answer brief questions, but right now I'm running four to six weeks reply time to a lot of my email.
Best of luck with your new flock! :)
