  1. That has got to be the cleverest caption I've seen yet. Your brain must function best when you're sleep-deprived. :-)

  2. All I can think of is the "Are you my Mother" kids book where the little bird falls out of the tree and the big Zonk puts her back in the nest! Great photo!

  3. So adorable!

Do you have to keep mama hen and the baby apart from the other chickens or are they all being nice?

  4. That is the cutest I must say of all the daily doses of cuteness.

  5. I'm loving that caption, too!
Where are you when we run Name That Photo Contests at my site?

I meant to remind you to submit a photo for the Cutest Pet Photo Contest. You could win a free year's subscription to Mother Earth News (a WONDERFUL magazine).

    Blessings!

  8. I don't think there's ever a cuteness overload here - loving the lambs and hoping that little chick soon gets some company....

  9. Adorable! Aww, I just love chickens, and I have one week old chicks right now in my garage. I haven't raised chickens since I was 12, so I'm very excited.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
