The Daily Donkey 23: Monday!
© FarmgirlFare.com, the full blown foodie farm blog where it's already been quite an exciting Monday, with a noisy thunderstorm crashing through the farm just after midnight and knocking out the electricity. Turns out the problem was a loose wire just two poles from The Shack, so the guys who had been working on the line since 1am—including spending quite a while stuck in the mud—were very glad to get our call this morning (I couldn't get through right after it happened).
We're the last ones on this line, so we always call in outages. Like our electric co-op tell us, Don't wait for your neighbor to call, because it might just be you! And sometimes it is. Oh, how we appreciate our electricity. Wishing you a power-full week!
