Daily Farm Photo 9/10/06: You Know She'll Find Some

Molly Doodlebug outside and looking for trouble.

Wonderful Wild Animal Sanctuary Update!
(Click
here if you missed my original post about the big cats and other exotic animals who need our help). The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado was forced to close its doors to visitors on September 2nd, but because they have received so many donations and promises of donations, they have enough money to keep operating and hope to keep the animals there indefinitely!

Click here to read the latest closing update on their website. Many, many thanks to all of you generously made donations and wrote about the Wild Animal Sanctuary on your own blogs. Please keep spreading the word! IT REALLY IS WORKING!

  3. My kids and I are thrilled to hear about the animal sanctuary - what good news! My daughter is a tiger lover, so she's been really concerned.
I'm so glad that everyone (especially you) was able to make a difference.

  4. So glad to hear about the sanctuary.

And I love kitty weekends. OK and doggie weekends. And when you get right down to it, Cary days.

  5. Thanks for the update on the WAS. Their video is completely heartbreaking and a reminder of how this place and others like it are so important.

December 2015 update: Hi! For some reason I can't figure out, Blogger hasn't been letting me leave comments on my own blog (!) for the last several months, so I've been unable to respond to your comments and questions. My apologies for any inconvenience! You're always welcome to email me: farmgirlfare AT gmail DOT com.

Hi! Thanks for visiting Farmgirl Fare and taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love hearing about your experiences with my recipes. Comments on older posts are always welcome!

Please note that I moderate comments, so if I'm away from the computer it may be a while before yours appears.

I try my best to answer all questions, though sometimes it takes me a few days. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your e-visits to our farm!
