Help! I'm being chased by a donkey!
And he's gaining on me!
NOTE: No Carys or donkeys were harmed or frightened during the taking of these photos.
And for those who have been asking how Cary is doing, the answer is just great. Every day with her is a zany new adventure, whether we're tooling around town, hanging laundry on the line, or just relaxing in the living room. Did you notice her cute new bobbed tail? And her right hind leg looks like it was never even broken—and is obviously working just fine!

ReplyDeleteI love your site. I hope to learn so very much about farming! I've added your page to my list of favorties (at my xanga.) I'll update the blogger page to have it soon!
ReplyDeleteCary has gotten so big. It is awesome to see DDD in his summer coat. I'd love to see New cat too in his summer coat.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the update. Its nice to see Cary is doing so well.
ReplyDeleteLooks Cary has a great new buddy. I am so happy to see that Cary is doing so well!
ReplyDeleteHi farmgirl, great blog, we also live on the land in South Australia, check out our chickens at:www.mountainchooks.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteSo cute!
ReplyDeleteOur little Cary is growing like a weed!
ReplyDeleteWhat do the people in town think of cutie pie Cary?
ReplyDeleteMy fiance and I took our two lambs for a walk yesterday - 2 miles!! They loved it! (Except when surrounded by playful cattle.) My wee black familiar (Brodgar, my cat) followed us the whole way. It was quite an adventure! It's so fun seeing the adventures of your own lamb hehehe!
ReplyDeleteNow you have me wanting a donkey!!
I am so glad she is so well!
ReplyDeleteYou have done the most FAB job with her fg!
Your blog is so beautiful. It makes me happy to see it and gives me something to look forward to at my miserable job. I cant wait to try some of your recipes, and I love your kitty pictures! Thank you for sharing your life with us.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a great update! It sure looks like Cary is growing up so fast. Thanks for the update!
ReplyDeleteAt first glance I thought how sweet of the donkey to share his water(and unusual), but then I looked at the rest of the photos. Just like a donkey! Love the site :)
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to hear that Cary is doing so well! I've bottle fed several of our baby pygmy goats and it's always fun to see them grow and get stronger. I think Dan needs to get into shape to catch Cary! ;o)
ReplyDeleteHow well do donkeys tolerate cold wet windy conditions? I live in a very wet windy place and I'd love to get a donkey...but don't know if it would do well here!!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted one of those critters hehehe!
hey, being chased by a donkey is no laughing matter lol
ReplyDeleteThis is so unfair! I was convinced that my dog Kenyon (a sheltie) was the cutest animal that ever lived! What am I supposed to tell him now that I've seen Cary and DDD?
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your blog everyday! The animals are wonderful and so is your commentary! You didn't mention what you did for your birthday...I'm so curious.
