It's about 100 years old but it should work just fine.

  1. Hi Farm Girl,
Just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed perusing your blog this morning. I grew up a farm girl in Kansas (and have some farming family in Missouri) and miss it terribly - so your words and your photos are wonderful for me.
Thanks for such a lovely reprieve from concrete today.

  5. I just noticed your sheep are romping amid snow flakes. A seasonal banner, and I wonder how long it took me to notice the change. Heh.

Happy hols! I suppose Christmas must seem more Christmasy when you have snow around. But this California girls is happier with the sun and and moderate temps.

January 2013 update: I know word verification is a big pain, but it's the only way I can stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I get every day. I don't want to require commenters to be registered Blogger or Open ID users because I know many of you aren't. Thanks so much for your understanding!
